The author Francis W. Murray lives in Saratoga New York with his dogs, Sophie, Border Collie and Simba, Husky.

The Day My Dog Went to Heaven is Francis W. Murray’s third published book. Francis is a true animal lover and believes that the pets we lost will be with us once again in Heaven. Francis wrote to teach us that God brought animals into our lives to make us happy when we are sad and to listen to us and help us through the good times and the bad.

Who I am

My name is Francis W. Murray, and I am a writer who creates meaningful, emotionally driven stories for readers who love heartfelt storytelling, strong family values, and special bond between people and their pets.

I live with my two loving dogs, Sophie and Simba, whose energy and loyalty are constant reminders of joy and the connection that animals bring.

I am a proud father of two wonderful adult children, both married, and a grateful grandfather of three energetic boys: Noah, Oliver, and Matthew each of whom inspires me in his own way.

The author believes that animals are far more than pets—they are true companions who enrich our lives in meaningful ways. They are a gift from God, guiding us through hardship and distress, offering comfort, and bringing out the most genuine smiles on our faces.

The author also believes that faith is what keeps us moving forward. Even in the hardest times, we can endure and overcome by holding on and trusting that God will guide us, help us, and listen to our prayers.

Finally, the author believes that grief is an important emotion. Without it, we would never fully appreciate the people—and even the pets—we love. And one day, in heaven, we will be reunited with all of them.
